Bring back the original ride control, stability, and handling of your Volkswagen with the KYB Excel-G Rear Suspension Strut 341007. This gas strut drops in as a direct-fit rear replacement for the 1985-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet, 1980-1984 Volkswagen Jetta, 1975-1984 Volkswagen Rabbit, 1980-1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible, and 1975-1989 Volkswagen Scirocco — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level details.

OEA design: A nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube strut calibrated to restore the vehicle's originally designed performance, earning KYB's Original Equipment for the Aftermarket classification.
Triple-lip fluid seal: Helps reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping: Hand-assembled, vehicle-specific damping valves are built to manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
