Restore the front-left corner of your Subaru with the KYB Gas-a-just High Pressure Monotube Gas Strut 5510022, an OE monotube replacement designed to help bring back the designed control and handling of the 2015-2017 Subaru WRX STI. It installs in the front left position.

Twin-chamber monotube design: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a separate high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving and added performance on demand.
Higher gas pressure: responds quickly to help improve steering response.
Fade-free operation: the high-pressure monotube design separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response.
Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth chrome piston rod helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of strut failure.

The Gas-a-just helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed. To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5664), and you can protect your new strut from dirt, debris and salt with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB123). Sold individually; replace struts as a matched pair on the same axle for balanced ride and handling.
