KYB Suspension Strut P/N:341311
Dial in your own ride control with the KYB AGX Suspension Strut (MPN 734013), a manually-adjustable front damping-rate strut for the 1987-1993 Ford Mustang. It lets enthusiasts tune individual corner damping without special tools, as often as you like — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.
To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5036), and protecting the struts from dirt, debris and salt with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB103). Sold individually.
Which vehicle does strut 734013 fit?
It is cataloged as a front suspension strut for the 1987-1993 Ford Mustang. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the fit for your specific vehicle.
How is the AGX strut adjusted?
Depending on the application, it uses either an eight-position knob or a four-position screwdriver slot. One adjustment changes both rebound and compression damping, and it can be done without lifting the vehicle or removing the tires.
How much can the damping be increased?
KYB states the AGX can add up to 125% more damping force than the vehicle's OEM design, letting you tune each corner for street or track driving.
Do I need new strut mounts or a boot?
KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5036) to reduce the chance of noise and vibration, and a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB103) to protect the strut from dirt, debris and salt. These are sold separately.
Is this strut sold as a pair?
It is sold individually. For balanced handling, it is best practice to replace struts on the same axle together as a matched set.
