KYB Suspension Strut P/N:333262
Dial in your own ride with the KYB AGX Suspension Strut 741009, a manually adjustable, damping-rate-adjustable front-left strut that lets you tune corner damping without special tools. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the front-left position on the 1990-1993 Acura Integra, 1988-1991 Honda Civic, and 1988-1991 Honda CRX — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.
To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5058), and protecting the struts with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB108).
What position does this strut fit?
It is the front-left (driver-side front) suspension strut for the listed applications. Struts are typically replaced in pairs, so consider ordering the matching side for balanced ride quality.
How much can I adjust the damping?
One simple adjustment increases both rebound and compression damping, up to 125% more damping force than the vehicle's OEM design — as often as you want.
Do I need special tools or to lift the car to adjust it?
No. The AGX adjusts externally without lifting the vehicle or removing the tires, using either an eight-position knob or a four-position screwdriver slot depending on the application.
Does this work with vehicles that have ABS or ESC?
Yes. KYB engineered the AGX to help vehicles equipped with electronic safety systems such as ESC and ABS.
Should I replace anything else during installation?
To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (SM5058), and protecting the struts with a KYB Strut Boot (SB108).
