KYB Suspension Strut P/N:741023

Dial in your own ride control with the KYB AGX Suspension Strut 741023, a front manually-adjustable damping-rate strut for the 1996-2000 Honda Civic and 1997-2000 Acura EL (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine specifics). It lets enthusiasts tune individual corner damping without special tools, as often as you like.

• Adjustable damping: Increases damping force up to 125% over the vehicle's OEM design; depending on application it uses an eight-position knob or a four-position screwdriver slot, and one adjustment changes both rebound and compression.
• Externally adjustable: Set it without lifting the vehicle or removing the tires.
• Precision valving: Multi-stage hydraulic valves provide a broad performance range, and velocity-sensitive valving reacts to driving conditions on street or track to help maintain tire contact and vehicle control.
• Built to last: A seamless working cylinder paired with a Teflon-coated piston band gives a positive seal and longer life.

The AGX is engineered to help vehicles equipped with electronic safety systems such as ESC and ABS. To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts, part number SM5058 (sold separately).
