LuK Transmission Clutch Kit P/N:07-188
LuK 07-096 transmission clutch kit for the 1991-1997 Ford Explorer V6 4.0L and other vehicles connects the engine to the manual transmission. The clutch disc engages to carry engine torque and releases when you press the pedal.
A slipping clutch, a changed pedal feel or trouble getting into gear can mean the clutch is worn, though a worn flywheel or a weak slave cylinder can also be behind them.
The vehicles it fits include the 1991-1997 Ford Explorer V6 4.0L, the 1990-1997 Ford Ranger V6 4.0L and the 1994-1997 Mazda B4000 V6 4.0L. The 1990-1997 Ford Ranger V6 4.0L takes one kit. If your truck or SUV is not among them, look up your own year and engine in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
