Keep pressurized oil circulating through every bearing and lifter with the Melling High Performance Oil Pump 10555ST, a high-volume, high-pressure gear-type Melling oil pump built for GM small-block V8 applications. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement across hundreds of vehicles, including the 1988-1999 Chevrolet C1500 [V8-5.7L], 1988-1999 Chevrolet K1500 [V8-5.7L], 1969-1985 Chevrolet Impala [V8-5.7L] and 1977-1981 Buick Century [V8-5.0L] — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

• Shark Tooth billet steel gears: helical gears move about 25% more oil than a stock pump, making this a true Melling high volume oil pump for demanding RPM.
• CNC-machined cast iron housing and cover: phosphate-coated and doweled together to align the shaft bores.
• Adjustable relief pressure: manufactured at 70 PSI (Pink) with optional 58 PSI (Yellow) and 80 PSI (Green) springs, retained by a screw-in relief plug instead of a pressed cup plug.
• Extended drive and idler shafts: add support in the cover to help limit shaft deflection at higher RPM, and it includes a chrome-moly intermediate shaft with steel guide.

Also includes a gasket, washers, hardware and a wrench for use with 3/4-inch bolt-on screen pumps. A pickup screen and timing cover are not included. Made in the United States.
