This threaded front steering sleeve joins the inner and outer tie rod ends, and turning it lengthens or shortens the tie rod assembly so a technician can set toe during a front-end alignment. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1991-2001 Jeep Cherokee, 1991-1992 Jeep Comanche, 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler, and 1997-2006 Jeep TJ — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.
