A steering tie rod end may need replacing if you notice play in the steering wheel, wandering on the road, a clunk when turning or uneven front tire wear. These symptoms can have other causes, so inspect the steering and suspension first. If a worn front inner tie rod end is the cause, this part replaces it. A wheel alignment is recommended after installation.
