Keep the front suspension tight and steering responsive with the Mevotech TTX Suspension Ball Joint TXK6540, a front upper ball joint that connects the upper control arm to the steering knuckle and lets the suspension pivot while carrying steering loads. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, including the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban 1500, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500, 2003-2014 Chevrolet Express 1500 and GMC Savana 1500, and 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade EXT and Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of covered years, makes and models.

Worn upper ball joints can show up as clunking over the front end, loose or wandering steering, and uneven tire wear; if a failed front upper ball joint is the cause, this replaces it. Press-fit into the larger flange diameter.
