  • Maximum toughness: patented sintered bearings for longer-lasting performance.
  • Locks out contaminants: a patented sealing ring permanently locks the boot onto the ball joint housing.
  • Included hardware: a part-specific slotted castle nut, snap cotter pin, and 180° & 90° SAE grease fitting.
  • Application-specific stud: a larger-sphere ball stud, knurling for a snug fit, and pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to keep fasteners secure.

The ball joint pivots the control arm against the steering knuckle so the front suspension can move and steer. Press-fit it into the larger flange diameter for an accurate install. Sold individually; replacing both sides together is good practice for balanced steering.
