The Magnum is a gas-charged, large-bore shock designed for air spring and taper leaf suspensions, damping rear suspension movement to help maintain ride control under high-mileage, severe-duty use.
- Nitrogen gas charge: helps maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration and shock fade (most applications).
- 10-Stage valving: reacts to a wide range of driving conditions for more consistent damping (most applications).
- Larger reserve tube and bore: a 2-3/8 in. reserve tube holds more fluid and a 1-3/4 in. bore provides more efficient damping control (most applications).
- Robust hydraulic lock-out: helps prevent over-extension and piston top-out and protects the seal assembly (most applications).
Nitrocarburized piston rod and PTFE-coated bearing reduce friction between the rod and rod guide. Compressed length 18.125 in., extended length 29.5 in., travel 11.375 in., with loop bushing-and-sleeve mounts and a metal dust shield included. Mounting hardware is not included.
