The Magnum is a gas-charged, large-bore shock intended for air spring and taper leaf suspensions, using a nitrogen gas charge to deliver the fast response heavy-duty truck suspensions call for.

• Nitrogen gas charge: helps maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration and shock fade for improved ride and handling.
• 10-stage valving (most applications): tuned to the vehicle, with a larger 1-3/4-in. bore for more efficient damping control.
• All-weather fluid: contains special additives to assist with extreme temperatures and help reduce oil breakdown; a larger 2-3/8-in. reserve tube holds more fluid (most applications).
• Strong and durable: shouldered and bonded bushing with sleeve protects against bushing walkout, with arc welds up to 360° for durability.

A robust hydraulic lock-out helps prevent over-extension of the air bags, piston top-out and seal-assembly damage (most applications), while a PTFE-coated bearing and nitrocarburized piston rod reduce friction for longer service life (most applications).
