Give a fresh set of struts the top mount they deserve with the Monroe Strut-Mate Suspension Strut Mount 903954. This front strut mount is a direct-fit replacement for the 1997-2003 Infiniti QX4 and the 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level fitment. The strut mount secures the top of the front strut assembly to the body and isolates road inputs where the suspension meets the chassis, so a worn, cracked, or noisy original can be renewed with a fresh unit.

    • Reduces noise and vibration: uses advanced elastomer technology for enhanced metal-to-rubber bonding, designed to reduce noise, vibration, and memory steer.
    • OE replacement: a direct fit for replacing the original front strut mount on the listed applications.
    • Perfect pairing: designed to complement the ride-control characteristics of Monroe struts; pair with fresh Monroe struts and springs (sold separately) for a matched setup.
    • Rigorously tested: fit checked and ride tested. Includes premium-quality replacement components where applicable for an easy install.

Signs the original mount may need replacing include knocking or clunking from the strut tower, binding or memory steer, and vibration through the front suspension. Replacing both sides together helps keep the front ride balanced.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What vehicles does the 903954 strut mount fit?

It is a direct-fit front strut mount for the 1997-2003 Infiniti QX4 and the 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder. Check the "Vehicles it fits" section to confirm the exact engine-level fitment for your vehicle.

What does a strut mount do?

It secures the top of the front strut assembly to the vehicle body and isolates road noise and vibration where the suspension meets the chassis. Many designs also let the strut pivot with steering.

What are signs my strut mount needs replacing?

Watch for knocking or clunking from the strut tower, binding or memory steer, and vibration through the front suspension. Diagnose the cause before replacing, since other worn parts can produce similar symptoms.

Should I replace both front strut mounts at once?

Replacing both sides together is recommended so the front suspension wears and rides evenly. This listing covers one front strut mount.

Is this a good match for new Monroe struts?

Yes. The Strut-Mate mount is designed to complement the ride-control characteristics of Monroe struts, so it pairs well when you install fresh Monroe struts or springs (sold separately).
