Smooth out the bumps and keep your rear tires planted with the Monroe OESpectrum Rear Suspension Strut 72696. Designed to help restore the vehicle's original factory drivability and ride control, it drops in as a direct-fit rear strut for the 2008-2016 Subaru Impreza and 2015-2017 Subaru Legacy — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full engine-level fitment.

Reduced noise, vibration and harshness: Twin Technology Active Control System delivers control under most driving conditions while isolating impact-related noise, vibration and harshness.
Tuned handling: rod displaced valving, tuned to the vehicle, adjusts to road extremes for a smooth, consistent ride (on most applications).
Consistent ride: OE all-weather fluid with special additives helps handle extreme temperatures and reduce oil breakdown.
Control and durability: a PTFE-banded piston keeps consistent sealing between piston and pressure tube, while a chrome-plated piston, bronze-reinforced rod guide bearing and single-lip seal support longer service life (where applicable).
