- PTFE-banded piston seals evenly between the piston and the pressure tube
- Nitrogen gas charge keeps tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration (on most applications)
- Chrome-plated piston, bronze reinforced rod guide bearing and single lip seal (where applicable)
Quick facts
- Part: Monroe Shocks & Struts 73073 suspension strut
- Fits: 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata and other vehicles
- Position: Front left
- Condition: New
A worn strut can show up as a bouncy ride, clunks over bumps or oil on the strut body. These signs alone do not prove the strut is at fault, since a worn tire or a loose sway bar link can feel similar. This listing is one strut for the front left; the front right is a separate part, and both are normally replaced together.
Fits
It fits the 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata and the 2016-2020 Kia Optima.
