Front Right Outer Tie Rod End for 1988-1991 Honda Civic & More - MOOG ES2943R

Designed to help keep your steering tight and precise, the MOOG ES2943R is a front right outer 1988-1991 Honda Civic tie rod and a direct-fit replacement for the 1988-1991 Honda CRX and 1990-1993 Acura Integra. This steering tie rod end links the steering linkage to the steering knuckle, turning your input at the wheel into movement of the front right wheel. Its ball stud pivots as the wheel steers and the suspension travels.

MOOG backs its outer tie rod ends with rigorous testing and problem-solving features intended for a straightforward installation:

• Pressed-in cover plate: MOOG's patented pressed-in cover plate keeps debris out and minimizes looseness, which reduces bearing wear and promotes longer life.
• Greaseable socket with Problem Solver® Gusher bearing: fresh lubricant can be added to flush out contaminants and reduce corrosion and wear. The metal-to-metal bearing design provides strength and lets grease flow through the bearing surface for reduced friction.
• Belleville preload washer: absorbs impact and helps keep the bearing package tight as the bearings wear.
• Heat-treated ball stud: heat treated to match or exceed OE requirements, which helps inhibit premature failure and improve fatigue strength.
