MSD Direct Ignition Coil P/N:8243
MSD 8287 direct ignition coil for the 2006-2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer V8 6.0L and other vehicles steps battery voltage up into the spark that ignites the fuel mixture at the plug. Built for the GM LS-engine platform, this coil takes the place of the OEM coil.
A worn coil can show up as a misfire, a rough idle or hard starting. Those signs can mean this coil is worn, though a fouled spark plug or a damaged connector can be behind them too, so find the cause before replacing it.
As an LS-platform coil, it also fits the 2005-2006 GMC Yukon V8 6.0L and the 2005-2007 Chevrolet Corvette V8 6.0L and 2006-2009 Corvette V8 7.0L, and it plugs directly into the factory coil location and factory connectors. If your car is not named here, look up its year and engine in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
