The master cylinder converts brake-pedal force into the hydraulic pressure that operates the brake system, and this 100% new unit drops in as a direct-fit replacement for a long list of 1970s–1980 GM, Jeep and AMC applications, including the 1970-1980 Chevrolet Camaro, 1971-1980 Chevrolet Impala, 1971-1980 Buick Electra, 1971-1975 Cadillac DeVille and 1974-1980 Jeep Cherokee. It has two outlets and a 1.125 in bore.
