NTK Engine Camshaft Position Sensor P/N:EC0118
NTK EC0117 camshaft position sensor for the 1997-2006 Ford F-150 V8 4.6L, the 1997-2010 F-150 V8 5.4L, the 2009-2010 F-150 V8 4.6L and other vehicles reports the exact position and speed of the camshaft to the ECM. Also called a cam sensor, this NTK camshaft position sensor gives the ECM the data it uses for fuel and spark timing and for VVT operation.
A failing sensor can show up as a check engine light, hard starting or no start, or an engine misfire. A damaged connector, a weak ignition coil or a crankshaft position sensor can produce these signs too, so find out which one is at fault before buying. If this sensor is the cause, EC0117 replaces it.
It is also a camshaft position sensor for the 1997-2004 Ford Expedition V8 4.6L and the 1997-2014 Expedition V8 5.4L, and for the 1996-2010 Ford Mustang V8 4.6L, the 2010-2012 Mustang V8 5.4L, the 2011 Mustang V8 5.0L and the 2013-2014 Mustang V8 5.8L. Its fit, form and function are designed to meet OE specifications. This listing is one sensor, and some of these engines take two. If your truck or car is not named here, look up your year and engine in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
