Nugeon Disc Brake Caliper P/N:97-17010D
Nugeon 97-17214B rear left brake caliper for the 1965-1982 Chevrolet Corvette clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. This remanufactured Nugeon brake caliper, also called a disc brake caliper, turns hydraulic pressure from the brake line into that clamping force.
A car that pulls to one side, wears pads unevenly or drags at the rear wheel can have a sticking caliper. These signs alone do not prove the caliper is at fault, since a damaged brake hose is another common cause. Replace the rear calipers as a pair; this listing is one caliper for the rear left, the right side is ordered separately, and each side of the axle takes one.
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1965-1982 Chevrolet Corvette.
