Bring firm, even hydraulic clamping back to your brakes with the Nugeon Remanufactured Disc Brake Caliper 99-01830B. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2011 Hyundai Accent, 2006-2011 Kia Rio, and 2006-2011 Kia Rio5. A brake caliper houses the piston that fluid pressure drives to squeeze the pads against the rotor, so a leaking, seized, or sticking caliper can cause dragging brakes, uneven pad wear, or a soft pedal — if the original caliper is the cause, this remanufactured unit replaces it.

  • Piston: single steel piston, 54 mm (2 in) outside diameter.
  • Housing: cast iron, natural color with a rust-preventative finish.
  • Includes: mounting bracket, caliper slides, dust boots, and a bleeder screw (M8-1.0 thread); package also includes brake pad installation hardware with a banjo bolt and copper crush washers where applicable.
  • Hydraulic inlet: banjo-bolt fitting, M10-1.0 inlet thread.

Brake pads, anti-squeal shims, wear sensors, a bleeder screw cap, and bracket mounting bolts are not included. Consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused. Country of origin: Mexico.

Interchange: Manufacturer part number 99-01830B.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this caliper come with brake pads?

No — brake pads, anti-squeal shims, and wear sensors are not included. It does include the mounting bracket, caliper slides, dust boots, and a bleeder screw.

What size and type is the piston?

It uses a single steel piston with a 54 mm (2 in) outside diameter.

What vehicles does this caliper fit?

It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2011 Hyundai Accent, 2006-2011 Kia Rio, and 2006-2011 Kia Rio5. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your vehicle.

Are the bracket mounting bolts included?

No. The caliper ships with a bracket, but bracket mounting bolts are not included. Consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.

Should I replace both calipers at the same time?

Calipers are sold individually and this listing is for one. For even, balanced braking it's good practice to service both sides of the axle together as a matched pair.
