Nugeon Disc Brake Caliper P/N:99-00970B
Nugeon 99-02379B rear left brake caliper for the 2003-2006 Mini Cooper clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. This Nugeon brake caliper is remanufactured and includes its mounting bracket.
Pulling to one side under braking or fluid at the wheel can mean a caliper is leaking or sticking. Before you replace this one, rule out worn pads, a damaged brake hose and seized slide pins, since each can bring similar symptoms. The rear axle takes one caliper per side; this listing is the left one, the right is ordered separately, and both are normally replaced together.
It is a rear caliper for the left side of the 2003-2006 and 2008 Mini Cooper.

Will this Mini Cooper brake caliper fit a 2008 Mini Cooper?

What comes with this Nugeon caliper?
The caliper comes with its bracket, slides, dust boots, hardware, bleeder screw and crush washer. Pads, shims, wear sensors and mounting bolts are not included.
Is this disc brake caliper a floating or fixed design?
Floating. Nugeon 99-02379B has a floating design with one steel piston that measures 33.91 mm (1.34 in) across.
How can I tell if a rear brake caliper piston is leaking or sticking?
Uneven pad wear from the left to the right rear, a wet dust boot around the piston or a rear wheel that seems to drag can each point to it. A shop can test the caliper.
What thread size is the bleeder screw on the Nugeon 99-02379B?
The bleeder screw is M10-1.0, and the inlet port uses the same M10-1.0 thread. A bleeder screw comes with the caliper, but its cap does not.
