Nugeon 99-17697A rear right brake caliper for the 2011-2018 Ram 1500 and other vehicles clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. This remanufactured Nugeon brake caliper holds the piston that pushes the pad into the rotor when you press the pedal.

A disc brake caliper that sticks or leaks can show up as pulling to one side, brake fluid at the wheel or one pad wearing faster than the others. These signs alone do not prove the caliper is at fault, since a worn brake hose can also pull the vehicle to one side.

One caliper for the rear right, with its bracket, caliper slides, dust boots, caliper and pad hardware, bleeder screw and crush washers. This side takes one; the rear left is a separate part ordered on its own, and both sides are normally replaced together. Brake pads, anti-squeal shims, wear sensors, the bleeder screw cap, bracket mounting bolts and mounting bolts are not included, so plan on new bolts rather than reusing the old ones.
