Nugeon Disc Brake Caliper P/N:99-17778B
Nugeon 99-17748A front left brake caliper for the 2009-2013 Dodge Journey clamps the pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. This remanufactured Nugeon brake caliper is a floating design, also called a disc brake caliper, with a single piston.
A sticking or leaking caliper can show up as the car pulling to one side, a pad wearing faster on one side or fluid near the wheel. Before you replace the caliper, rule out a worn brake hose, worn pads and a damaged rotor, since those can cause some of the same signs. This listing is one caliper, and both front calipers are normally replaced together.
This front left brake caliper fits the 2009-2013 Dodge Journey.
Fit and size
Build and materials
One front left caliper with its mounting bracket, caliper slides, dust boots, caliper and pad hardware, bleeder screw and crush washer. The 2009-2013 Dodge Journey takes one caliper on this side; the front right is ordered separately. Brake pads, anti-squeal shims, wear sensors, the bleeder screw cap, the bracket mounting bolts and the mounting bolt are not included, so plan on new bolts, since the old ones may not be reusable.
