Description

Keep the crankshaft and torque converter turning together with the Pioneer Automatic Transmission Flexplate FRA-454. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1982 Nissan 310, the 1983 Nissan Pulsar, the 1983-1988 Nissan Pulsar NX, the 1982-1988 Nissan Sentra, and the 1986-1987 Nissan Tsuru (engine: All).

A flexplate bolts to the crankshaft and to the torque converter, transmitting engine power into the automatic transmission, and its outer ring gear meshes with the starter to crank the engine. Signs it may need replacing include a grinding or no-crank condition from worn ring-gear teeth, or a rattle from cracks around the bolt holes.
