Description

Keep every gear selection moving cleanly from the shift lever to the transmission with this Pioneer Automotive Industries automatic transmission shifter cable, part number CA-1250. This lower shifter cable is a direct-fit replacement for the 2007-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 2007-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD, 2007-2014 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, 2007-2014 GMC Sierra 3500 HD, 2009-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2009-2013 GMC Sierra 1500, 2009-2012 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, 2009-2013 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 and 2009-2013 GMC Yukon XL 2500.

Pioneer builds its cables as a high-quality replacement alternative to the original part. Key features:

Built to OE specs: manufactured to original-equipment specifications.
Steel inner cable: a durable steel core carries the shift motion.
Polymer outer housing: helps protect the inner cable from corrosion and abrasion.
Hardware where applicable: depending on the application, Pioneer cables may include common brackets, grommets and ends.

The shifter cable mechanically links the gear selector to the transmission's shift mechanism. Signs this part may need replacing include a gear indicator that doesn't match the selected gear, a shifter that feels loose or disconnected, or difficulty moving into or out of Park. If a stretched or broken cable is the cause, this replaces it. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-specific details.
