Automatic Transmission Shifter Cable for 1996-2002 Chevrolet Express 2500 & More - Pioneer CA-1294

Link the gear selector back to the transmission with the Pioneer Automotive Industries automatic transmission shifter cable, part number CA-1294. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1996-2002 Chevrolet Express 2500 and Express 3500 and the 1996-2002 GMC Savana 2500 and Savana 3500. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-specific details.

The shifter cable carries the movement of the gear selector to the transmission's shift lever. It is designed so that each selection you make is passed to the transmission. Pioneer builds this cable to OE specs as a quality replacement alternative to the original cable.

• Made to OE specs: Manufactured to original-equipment specifications for the listed applications.
• Steel inner cable: A durable steel core carries the shift motion from the selector to the transmission.
• Polymer outer housing: Surrounds the inner cable and helps protect it from corrosion and abrasion.
• Vehicle coverage: 1996-2002 Chevrolet Express 2500/3500 and 1996-2002 GMC Savana 2500/3500.

Signs this cable may need replacing include a shifter that feels loose or sloppy, a gear indicator that does not line up with the gear engaged, or difficulty selecting Park or other gears. Diagnose the cause before replacing any parts, because the shifter assembly, bushings or other linkage components can produce similar symptoms.
