MOOG Chassis Products Steering Tie Rod End P/N:ES3472
Tighten up loose, wandering steering with the QuickSteer Steering Tie Rod End ES443L, a direct-fit front right inner tie rod end for classic GM cars. It installs in the steering linkage on the 1975 Buick Apollo, 1975-1979 Buick Skylark, 1975-1981 Chevrolet Camaro, 1975-1979 Chevrolet Nova, 1975-1979 Oldsmobile Omega, 1975-1977 Pontiac Ventura and 1977-1979 Pontiac Phoenix. As the inner pivot joint, it transmits steering input from the linkage toward the wheel; a worn unit can show up as play in the wheel, a wandering feel, or looseness when turning.
Designed and tested to help restore steering and handling toward original performance. If a failed inner tie rod end is the cause of your loose steering, this replaces it.

What are signs my tie rod end may need replacing?
Play or looseness in the steering, a wandering feel, clunking, and uneven or accelerated tire wear can point to a worn tie rod end. Have the cause diagnosed before replacing.
Can I grease this tie rod end?
Yes. It has a greaseable socket, so fresh lubricant can flush out contaminants to help reduce corrosion and wear.
Should I get an alignment after installing it?
A wheel alignment is recommended after replacing a tie rod end so steering geometry and tire wear stay correct. Follow the vehicle service procedure.
