Designed for noise-prone applications, the Raybestos Brakes Specialty rear brake rotor 980567 uses application-specific cast iron that is intended to help damp noise and improve service life. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2011-2017 Honda Odyssey, 2009-2015 Honda Pilot and 2007-2013 Acura MDX, as a direct-fit rear replacement for the listed applications. This solid, drum-in-hat disc brake rotor has a vehicle-specific design that Raybestos builds to match OE fit, form and function.
- Application-specific iron: The cast iron is chosen for the application to help damp noise.
- SAE standards: It follows SAE standards for tensile strength, hardness and iron grade for structural integrity.
- Turned finish: A turned, non-directional braking surface gives the pads a good surface to engage, and is designed for smooth, effective stops right out of the box.
- Rust protection: Raybestos protects its Specialty rotors against the elements with either a full Grey Fusion 4.0® coating rated at 300 hours of salt spray or a Black Fusion painted hat and edge.
Specifications: 13.142 in (333.8 mm) outside diameter; 0.433 in (11 mm) nominal thickness; 0.354 in (9 mm) discard thickness; 2.51 in (63.75 mm) overall height; 2.76 in (70.1 mm) center hole; 5 lug holes on a 4.72 in (119.9 mm) bolt circle, with a 0.573 in (14.55 mm) hole diameter. The listed applications use two rotors. This rotor is sold individually, and we recommend replacing both rear rotors together as a matched pair for even, balanced braking.
