Remy 12629 alternator for the 2005-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V6 4.3L, V8 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L and other vehicles recharges the battery and supplies power to the electrical system while the engine runs. This Remy alternator is remanufactured and designed for dependability and reliability throughout the vehicle's service life.
Dimming headlights, a battery warning light or a battery that keeps going flat can mean the alternator is not charging. A weak battery, a worn drive belt or corroded battery cables can be behind these signs too, so find the cause before buying.
