Remy Starter P/N:99416
Remy 17273 starter for the 1998-2004 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 4-cylinder 2.3L and other vehicles is remanufactured and turns the engine over so it can start.
A failing starter can show up as slow cranking, a single click when you turn the key, or a grinding noise at startup. A weak battery or a corroded cable can also make an engine crank slowly or click, so with the engine off, look over the battery terminals and starter cable connections for corrosion or looseness before replacing the starter. The engine takes one starter.
This starter fits the 1998-2004 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 4-cylinder 2.3L, the 1997-2000 Mercedes-Benz C230 4-cylinder 2.3L and the 1995-1996 Mercedes-Benz C220 4-cylinder 2.2L.
