Remy Starter P/N:17699
Remy 17355 starter for the 2002-2003 Mitsubishi Lancer 4-cylinder 2.0L and other vehicles turns the engine over so it can start. This is a remanufactured starter motor.
A starter that cranks slowly, clicks without turning the engine over or fails to engage can be worn. Before replacing it, look over the battery terminals and cable ends with the engine off for corrosion or looseness, because a weak battery or a poor connection can look like a bad starter. A shop can test the starter itself.
It is also a starter for the 1998-2002 Mitsubishi Mirage 4-cylinder 1.8L and the 2000-2002 Mirage 4-cylinder 1.5L.
