This Rancho shock absorber is built around the brand's exclusive Cross Tuned technology for improved on- and off-road ride control.

Cross Tuned technology: an exclusive rebound valving system paired with an advanced compression phase to improve overall handling and performance on and off road.
Progressive Engagement Valving: custom-tuned for each vehicle to help reduce initial low-speed impacts and minimize a rough ride.
Strong, durable build: a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, double-welded loops at stress areas, a 35mm sintered iron piston, and a polyvinyl protective boot.
Handles temperature swings: a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation, rated to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248°F.

It is nitrogen gas pressurized to 150 PSI to minimize air-to-oil mixing and help reduce damping fade and foaming, while a polyurethane rebound bumper, rubber bushings, and a fluon-banded piston work with a Compression Control Valve and a low-friction, self-lubricating seal for smooth, controlled motion.
