The pressure plate clamps the clutch disc against the flywheel to transfer engine torque to the manual transmission. The release bearing disengages that clamp when the pedal is pressed. Signs a clutch may need replacing include slipping under load, chatter or grabbing on takeoff, release-bearing noise with the pedal down, and hard shifting. If worn clutch components are the cause, this kit replaces them.

Does the SACHS K1909-02HD kit include a flywheel?
No. The flywheel, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts and mounting hardware are not included. Consult your vehicle's service information for the correct fasteners and whether the originals may be reused.
Which bearings come in this clutch kit?
The kit includes a release bearing, a pilot bearing and a pilot bushing. It also comes with a clutch alignment tool and grease.
What are the clutch disc specifications?
The sprung disc uses organic disc material and measures 304.8 mm in diameter. It has a 10-spline input with a 28.6 mm input shaft diameter and pairs with a diaphragm-type pressure plate.
What signs suggest my clutch may need replacing?
Common signs include slipping under load, chatter or grabbing on takeoff, a noisy release bearing with the pedal pressed, and hard shifting. Diagnose the cause first, since hydraulic or linkage faults can cause similar symptoms.
Are the clutch master and slave cylinders included?
No. The clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and clutch cable are not part of this kit, so order them separately if your vehicle needs them.
