Description

Cushion the front strut and keep it properly located with the Mevotech Supreme Suspension Strut Mount Kit MP906956. This front strut mount kit installs as a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 2007-2012 Chevrolet Equinox, 2010-2012 GMC Terrain and 2007-2009 Pontiac Torrent — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list. The mount sits between the top of the strut and the vehicle body, isolating road vibration and helping locate the strut assembly as the suspension travels. If a worn, cracked, or noisy mount is behind your symptoms, this kit replaces it.

Corrosion-resistant surface treatment: helps prevent rust build-up for longer service life.
100% natural rubber: all moulded parts use 100% natural rubber for durability.
LaborSaver Feature: bundled hardware saves time and money during the install.

Replacing the mounts on both sides together is recommended for balanced ride quality. Always diagnose the source of the noise or vibration before ordering, since other suspension parts can produce similar signs.

Buyer's Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

What vehicles does the MP906956 strut mount kit fit?

It is a direct-fit front replacement for many vehicles, including the 2007-2012 Chevrolet Equinox, 2010-2012 GMC Terrain and 2007-2009 Pontiac Torrent. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.

What does this strut mount kit do?

It mounts the top of the front strut to the body, helping locate the strut assembly and isolate road vibration as the suspension moves through its travel.

What are the signs a strut mount may need replacing?

Common signs include clunking or noise over the front suspension, vibration, or cracked and separated rubber at the mount. Diagnose the cause first, as other parts can produce similar symptoms.

Is mounting hardware included?

Yes. The LaborSaver Feature bundles the hardware with the kit to save time and money during installation.

Should I replace both sides at once?

Replacing the mounts in matched sets side to side is recommended for balanced ride quality and even wear, though this listing covers the kit as described.
