Hold the hood up and steady with the Stabilus Hood Lift Support 5B-194558, an 11.08-inch gas-charged lift support built with Stabilus Lift-O-Mat dynamic damping speed control. It fits a wide range of BMW models, including the 2012-2022 BMW 2-Series, 2012-2018 BMW 320I, 2012-2016 BMW 328I, 2012-2015 BMW 335I, 2016-2020 BMW 420I, the 2017-2020 BMW 430I and 440I, and the 2016-2021 BMW M2 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of 53 applications.

Dynamic damping speed control: creates a fluid opening motion with no bouncing or jerking during cycling.
Velocity manifold groove: a longitudinal groove pressed into the tube wall lets gas flow around the piston, narrowing toward the end of the stroke for a gentle, controlled stop.
