Description

Keep your rear liftgate raised and steady with the Stabilus Liftgate Lift Support 3B-799972, a gas-charged left-side (L) support measuring 21.89 inches. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2007-2016 GMC ACADIA and 2007-2010 SATURN OUTLOOK — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.

This is a Stabilus Lift-O-Mat with a temperature compensating piston, based on the OE design for proper fit, form, and function.

Temperature compensating piston: automatically adjusts to temperature changes — below 0°C the valve increases hold-open force to help keep the gate up, and above 0°C it reduces closing effort. Rated for consistent operation from -30°C to +80°C.
Corrosion-resistant coatings: part coatings are tested to automotive standards for corrosion resistance.
Easy installation: installs with no special tools.
Left-side unit: because of how it functions, it must be mated with a separate support on the opposite side; for best results, replace in pairs.
