Description

Keep your Tundra's tailgate opening and closing with smooth, controlled motion using the Stabilus Tailgate Damper 4B-256726 (also written 4B256726). This 16.85-inch gas-charged damper with dynamic speed control drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level details. Tailgate dampers gradually lose their damping ability, which can lead to harder opening and closing and uncontrolled motion; if a worn damper is the cause, this replaces it.

Dynamic damping speed control: creates a fluid opening motion with no bouncing or jerking during cycling.
Corrosion resistance: part coatings tested to automotive standards.
Based on the OE design: intended to provide proper fit, form, and function.
Easy to install: requires no special tools. For best results, replace in pairs.

Built to OE standards to help restore smooth, controlled tailgate operation.
