Tailgate Damper for 2004-2015 Nissan Titan - Stabilus 5B-048796

Bring smooth, controlled tailgate motion back to your truck with the Stabilus Tailgate Damper 5B-048796, a 14.96-inch gas-charged damper with dynamic speed control. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2015 Nissan Titan — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level fitment. Over time, tailgate dampers lose their damping ability, which can make opening and closing harder and lead to uncontrolled motion; if a worn damper is the cause, this unit replaces it to help restore consistent operation.

• Dynamic speed control: regulates the damping rate for a fluid opening motion with no bouncing or jerking during cycling.
• Corrosion-resistant coatings: part coatings tested to automotive standards for corrosion resistance.
• Based on the OE design: built to OE standards to help match the original fit, form, and function.
• Easy installation: installs with no special tools required.

For best results, replace dampers in pairs so both sides provide balanced, consistent motion control.
