Standard Ignition ABS Relay,Accessory Delay Relay,Accessory Power Relay,Accessory Safety Relay P/N:RY-116
Replace a failed ABS, horn or accessory-power relay with the Standard Ignition RY-612. This relay lets a small control signal switch a higher-current circuit on and off, and it is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. It is listed for many models, among them the 1997-2013 Ford F-150, the 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and the 1991-2016 Ford Explorer.
A relay acts as a remote switch, so the switch or module that commands a circuit does not have to carry that circuit's full electrical load. When a relay fails, the circuit it controls can go dead, work only now and then, or stay on. If a failed relay is the cause of a silent horn or an accessory that won't power up, RY-612 replaces it. Fuses, wiring and switches can produce the same symptoms, so diagnose the circuit before you replace the relay. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of vehicles.
Can the Standard Ignition RY-612 be used as a 1997-2013 Ford F-150 starter relay?
Starter relay is not among RY-612's listed uses, which are ABS, accessory delay, accessory power, air bag and horn relay. It is listed for the 1997-2013 Ford F-150; check the Buyer's Guide tab for your application.

What does the RY-612 relay do?
A relay uses a small control current to open and close a higher-current circuit. RY-612 is cataloged for ABS, accessory delay, accessory power, air bag and horn relay circuits.
What are the signs a relay may need replacing?
The circuit it controls may stop working, work only intermittently, or stay on. Fuses, wiring and switches can cause similar symptoms, so test the circuit before replacing the relay.
