Standard Ignition ABS Wheel Speed Sensor P/N:ALS3168
Standard Ignition ALS1698 front left ABS wheel speed sensor for the 2005-2010 Kia Sportage monitors wheel rotation speed and reports it to the ABS.
An ABS warning light that stays on, or ABS that stops working, can mean the sensor has failed. Before you replace it, rule out a damaged harness, a dirty or damaged tone ring and a worn wheel bearing, since any of those can set the same light.
Engineered for Kia vehicles, this sensor is a direct-fit replacement for the 2005-2010 Kia Sportage.

Does the Standard Ignition ALS1698 fit the 2005-2010 Kia Sportage?
Yes. Standard Ignition ALS1698 is a front left wheel speed sensor for the 2005-2010 Kia Sportage. The front right side takes its own sensor, sold as a separate listing.
Is mounting hardware included with this Standard Ignition ABS wheel speed sensor?
No. Hardware is not included with ALS1698, but grommets and wire clips come on the harness. Plan on new fasteners, since the old ones may not be reusable.
How long is the harness on the ALS1698, and what connector does it use?
The harness on this sensor is 41 inches (1041.4 mm) long. It ends in a rectangular male connector with two female blade terminals.
What does a failing ABS wheel speed sensor do to the dashboard lights?
An ABS or traction control warning light can come on, and ABS may stop working. A shop can read the stored code to see which wheel is reporting a fault.
Where does this front left wheel speed sensor mount, and how many bolt holes does it have?
This sensor mounts at the spindle and has 3 bolt holes. It is a front left part, so the front right side takes its own sensor.
