Standard Ignition ABS Wheel Speed Sensor P/N:ALS2882
Standard Ignition ALS288 rear left ABS wheel speed sensor for the 2002-2003 Nissan Maxima and other vehicles tells the ABS how fast the wheel is turning. The anti-lock brake system uses that signal to spot a wheel that is slowing too quickly.
A worn or failing wheel speed sensor can bring on an ABS or traction control warning light. A warning light on its own does not prove this sensor is the problem, since a damaged tone ring can set the same light.
This sensor fits the 2002-2003 Nissan Maxima and the 2002-2004 Infiniti I35.
