This front-left sensor drops in on the 1996-1997 C220 [All], 1996-1999 C230 [All], 1996-2000 C280 [All], 1996-1997 C36 AMG [All], 1998-2000 C43 AMG [All], 1998-2003 CLK320 [All], 1999-2003 CLK430 [All], and 2001-2002 CLK55 AMG [All]. It monitors wheel rotation speed at the wheel and reports that signal to the ABS control module. If a failed wheel speed sensor is the cause of an illuminated ABS or traction-control warning, this replaces it — diagnose the cause before replacing.
