Standard Ignition Accelerator Pedal Sensor P/N:APS176
Standard APS128 accelerator pedal sensor for the 2006-2008 Chevrolet Impala and other vehicles reads the position of the pedal and sends it to the ECU. The ECU uses that signal to control throttle response.
A worn or failing pedal sensor can show up as hesitation or uneven response when you press the pedal, or as a warning light. These signs alone do not prove the sensor is the problem, because damaged wiring or a loose connector can cause them too. Each vehicle takes one.
This sensor fits the 2006-2008 Chevrolet Impala, the 2005-2008 Buick LaCrosse and the 2005-2008 Buick Allure. It is engineered to work with the electronic throttle control system of GM vehicles.
