Standard Ignition Accelerator Pedal Sensor P/N:APS176
Standard Ignition APS198 accelerator pedal sensor for the 2004-2012 Chevrolet Malibu and other vehicles reads pedal position for the electronic throttle control system. It is engineered specifically to integrate with that system on GM vehicles.
Slow or uneven throttle response, reduced engine power or a warning light can mean the pedal sensor is worn, though the throttle body or damaged wiring at the connector can be behind the same signs, so find the cause before you replace it.
It fits the 2004-2012 Chevrolet Malibu, the 2005-2010 Pontiac G6 and the 2007-2009 Saturn Aura.
