Standard Ignition Accelerator Pedal Sensor P/N:APS601
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition APS371 accelerator pedal sensor for the 2010-2014 Subaru Outback and other vehicles reports pedal position to the electronic throttle control system. The engine computer reads that signal to set throttle response.
A worn or failing accelerator pedal sensor can bring on a warning light, hesitation or an uneven throttle response. Before you replace it, rule out a damaged connector or wiring, since a poor connection can disturb the pedal signal too. The pedal carries a single sensor, so a car takes one.
This sensor is listed for a wide range of Subaru models, including the 2008-2013 Subaru Forester and the 2009-2014 Subaru Legacy. If your Subaru is not named here, look up its year and model in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
