Standard Ignition Battery Current Sensor P/N:BSC57
Standard Ignition BSC79 sensor for the 2008-2010 BMW X5 V8 4.8L, the 2008-2013 X5 6-cylinder 3.0L, the 2010-2013 X5 V8 4.4L and other vehicles monitors the battery for the vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS).
A failing battery current sensor can show up as a battery warning light, a battery that keeps going flat or odd charging behavior. A weak battery produces many of these too, so the signs alone do not prove the sensor is at fault.
This is a direct-fit OE replacement, listed for a wide range of BMW models, including the 2010-2012 BMW X6 6-cylinder 3.0L or V8 4.4L and the 2007-2010 BMW 328i 6-cylinder 3.0L. Each takes one sensor.
