Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:AL-35
Help deliver spark to every cylinder of your vintage Durant with the Standard Ignition Distributor Cap AL-65. It is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications: the 1929 Durant Model 40, the 1929 Durant Model M4 and the 1931 Durant Model 610. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
The distributor cap covers the distributor. It routes high voltage from the coil, through the spinning rotor, to each spark plug wire terminal in firing order. Over time a cap can crack, develop carbon tracks or build up corrosion on its terminals. Misfires, hard starting or rough running are signs this part may need replacing. If a worn cap is the cause, the AL-65 replaces it.
