Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:JH-115

Keep high-voltage spark moving to the right cylinder with the Standard Ignition Distributor Cap JH-115. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1986-1987 Mazda B2000, and the Buyer's Guide tab has the engine details. The cap covers the distributor and carries current from the rotor to each spark plug wire terminal in firing order.

• Controlled manufacturing: Standard Ignition is a global manufacturer of original equipment ignition products. It maintains quality control through the whole manufacturing process, from componentry to the finished product.
• Reinforced cap material: The cap is made of high dielectric strength, glass/mineral reinforced polyester resin. The material is designed for less carbon tracking and greater resistance to electrical breakdown.
• RFI resistors where specified: These resistors are intended to help suppress radio static and potentially ECU-damaging spikes.
• Solid brass terminals (where available): The terminals are designed for better connections and greater resistance to electrical pitting and corrosion.

A distributor cap may need replacing if it shows cracks, carbon tracks inside the cap, or worn or corroded terminals. Misfires, rough idle and hard starting can also be signs. Other ignition components can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing parts. If the cap is at fault, JH-115 replaces it. It is also worth inspecting the rotor while the cap is off.
