Help deliver high-voltage spark to each plug in the correct firing order with the Standard Ignition Distributor Rotor JR-105. It is a direct replacement for a range of Nissan applications: the 1986-1995 Nissan Sentra, 1989-1990 Nissan 240SX, 1989-1992 Nissan Hikari, 1989-1990 Nissan Pulsar NX, 1990-1994 Nissan D21, 1990-1991 Nissan Ichi Van, 1991-1993 Nissan NX, 1993-1996 Nissan Pickup, and the 1993-1996 and 1998 Nissan Tsuru. The rotor turns with the distributor shaft. It carries current from the cap's center terminal to each outer terminal in sequence, so every plug fires in turn.
- Quality control: Standard is a global manufacturer of original equipment ignition products. It controls quality through every stage of production, from components to the finished product.
- Dielectric alkyd: The high-grade, dielectric-strength alkyd resists dirt sticking to it. This is designed to reduce carbon tracking and extend service life.
- Solid brass segments: The brass segments are designed for better conductivity and higher-voltage spark to the plugs.
- Shaft retention clips: The rotor uses retention clips where the application requires them, for a secure fit on the shaft.
Signs a rotor may need replacing: misfires, hard starting, rough running, or a no-start. On inspection, look for a burned contact tip, cracks, or carbon tracks. If a worn rotor is the cause, this unit replaces it. Diagnose the ignition system first, since other components can produce the same symptoms.
